3D Graphics (Architectural Planning): US National Park Service call for proposals for a large memorial prompted RioPoint to submit a breathtaking vision of this Federally funded project. RioPoint’s public entertainment complex in the outskirts of Somerset, Pennsylvania is a showcase of modern technology and classic iconic representation. The Freedom Gardens celebrates and honors the heroic actions of the 40 individuals killed on September 11, 2001 aboard flight American Airlines Flight 93, bound to San Francisco.
A retractable translucent roof responds to the harsh weather conditions in the area, just like an eagle responds to nature as it soars. 40 feet tall metal feathers represent those who sacrificed to protect the eagle, as an structural component of freedom itself. The highest point is where visitors can join the loop of the heroes, by holding onto the metal rail that is one piece with the metal feather figures. A water fountain flows at the summit, symbolizing lasting peace. For more 3D click 3D Graphics.
