Product Development & Management : RioPoint conducted product development for Chubbz Foods, the makers fo Chubbz. Chubbz is an innovation of the traditional Thai spring roll wrap, leveraging the wave of healthy eating and low carb diets. Chubbz targets the vast “wrap” food market, as a healthier, tastier and fun substitute for bread, tortillas and rice paper.
Brand Identity : The logo and packages were designed to recall the round nature of wraps, with organic and natural colors of the palette. Chubbz name was picked to support the concept of a delicious and healthy new food item.
Marketing Research & Competitive Analysis : Chubbz is 100% natural, made of 90% vegetable extract such as spinach, carrots or beets, and 10% whole grain flour; instead of 98% refined rice flour of the traditional Thai rice paper. Chubbz nutritional value far surpasses the old fashion wrap, and it’s also more tasteful and enticing. There is no similar product currently in the market.
