a “Brand Theme Event” catering to the affluent population
turning 40 years old. The custom invitation calls for celebrating the “launch
of AOL v.4.0” - a witty reference to a passage that could otherwise
sound grim. At the same time, "AOL v4.0 launch" entitles
the honorees with the distinction of "Ambassadors of Life",
recognizing the value of experience and vital energy of this peak age.
The design is noteworthy for its subtle and whimsical display of the number 40, and yet for not mentioning it as the actual celebrated age.
Direct Mail: Invitations are sent either by email, regular mail or both. A RSVP Web site tracks responses, preferences for each guest, table reservations etc... The customized invitations include special photography and caricatures.
